Why NBQ Jazz Band? A few things to think about...

Quality
Musician quality is paramount when choosing a jazz band for your event. At NBQ all our musicians are brilliant professional instrumentalists who have spent 1000's of hours practicing and performing, and who all share a love of jazz music. However, being a fine instrumentalist is only half of what's required from a musician playing in any NBQ jazz band.

Punctuality
All our musicians are extremely punctual always leaving plenty of time when travelling to any event. We aim to have the jazz band set up and ready to play at least half and hour before we are due to start. For wedding ceremonies NBQ musicians will be in place and ready at least 1 hour before the start. Before any long journeys we check the traffic news before we set off and take account of heavy traffic due to rush hour, public holidays and major sporting events where crowd congestion might cause delays . For bookings where we are travelling long distances we leave plenty of time and are nearly always in the area well in advance.

Presentation
The NBQ jazz band is extremely well presented. Our musicians will always look tidy and smart and will also make every effort to ensure theperformance area as tidy and clear as possible. If your event is black tie we will also be black tie, otherwise we usually wear suits.

Timings
With every booking we will agree with you in advance the timings and set lengths that the jazz band will perform. However, in even the most carefully planned event, we recognise that timings change. We will always do our best toaccommodate this. If you need more jazz because things are running late or, vice versa, we will always try to help.

At NBQ Jazz we aim to handle every booking with a helpful, friendly professionalism from the first initial enquiry, until the moment we say goodbye at the end of the evening.
